About The Chilterns Vintage Cinema
We felt that is was about time there was little more culture, fun and excitement in the Chilterns, so we set up Vintage Cinema.
We’re all about bringing communities together, offering the chance to experience something new. We try and cater for all ages including couples, families and friends. Everyone is welcome, so long as you’re old enough for the films certification.
Our staff dress in traditional usher and usherette uniforms and our classic trailers will take you back to a bygone period.
Our venues are both indoor and outdoor across the Chilterns and are typically in unusual, unique and interesting places where you get the chance to enjoy the environment and the film simultaneously.

"Well-organised, comfortable beanbags, attentive staff and amazing atmosphere. Staff were very so helpful for my disabled friend who was able to come and have an amazing evening. Wonderful setting for Paddington to be beside steam trains. Highly recommended!"
"We went along to see Jaws in the Natural History Museum at Tring ....and what a way to watch such an iconic film! Everybody was so welcoming and helpful, you genuinely felt that you were part of something special. Amid the exhibits and in the shadows of the skeletal underwater world, we sipped on fizz and enjoyed popcorn settled comfortably onto beanbag chairs. An absolute definite 'must-do' and indeed, we will do again. "
"This was an amazing experience. We watched Donnie Darko at the Hell Fire Caves. Absolutely brilliant. Would definitely recommend. 5*"
